Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Shadow employees to learn about their roles and responsibilities, taking notes and asking detailed questions to ensure understanding;
• Create standard operating procedures (SOPs), detailed work instructions, or flow charts;
• Collaboratively working with employees ensuring accuracy and clarity of documentation;
• Make any revisions needed after staff members have reviewed and provided input.
• Ensure the appropriate approvals are received upon reviewing documentation for accuracy from management;
• Create centralized location to store all SOP’s and detailed work instructions ensuring that anyone who needs to access this information is able to access it; Ensure confidentiality of information as needed;
• Make recommendations for process improvements where applicable.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated excellent written communication skills;
• Demonstrated excellent verbal communication skills;
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail skills;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Knowledge of the agricultural industry preferred;
• Knowledge of basic accounting and finance concepts preferred.
