Auction Clerk (Part-Time)

Eaton, OH

Hours: Tuesdays – approximately 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Weigh animals, enter weight into computer system, and balance scales as required.

• Enter tag number, description of animal, price, and buyer information into the computer system. Enter seller information as needed.

• Assist, as needed, before and after the sale with auction day activities.

• Communicates with the office personnel, auctioneer, producers, buyers, and others in a professional manner.

Requirements:

• Proficiency using computers and prior data entry experience with high efficiency.

• Excellent communication, listening skills and customer service skills.

• Prior experience working with livestock (cattle, sheep, hogs) is highly preferred.
