Livestock Marketing Trainee-Vincennes, IN

Position: Livestock Marketing Trainee
Location: Vincennes, Indiana
Hours: Full-Time

Responsibilities may include some or all of the following:
• Provide support to the Facility Manager as needed;
• Ensure animal well-being guidelines are met or exceeded;
• Assist with managing and developing a team of employees;
• Provide livestock marketing solutions to members, buyers, and customers;
• Address and resolve customer concerns;
• Ensure that all accounts receivables meet or exceed company guidelines;
• Ensure that rules and regulations created by the Packers and Stockyards Administration and state department(s) of agriculture are followed;
• Assist in the annual budget process for facility ensuring that the budget is met or exceeded.

Requirements include:
• Minimum of 2 years prior experience working with livestock;
• Minimum of 1 year prior customer relationship experience demonstrating exceptional customer service;
• Demonstrated leadership experience;
• Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, see, and hear;
• Must be agile;
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs. or more regularly;
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
